Stocker-EligibilityThe Stocker Cup is a Mid-Amateur event. The Peter Stocker Flight is played for the overall individual championship. In addition, The Tatum Cup is awarded to the low senior player (age 50 and over).

All contestants must have reached the age of 25 by the first day of the tournament. Players with national level amateur golf accomplishments who wish to submit a request for invitation should do so no later than August 1st. Please visit the application page to submit a request for invitation.

The Ruth Stocker Barry Cup is a two man best ball event -- which pairs one Peter Stocker Flight player (A Player) with a competitive B player -- is held simultaneous to the individual championship. Both events are played at 54 holes. B players include friends and associates of the late Peter Stocker and players invited by the committee. A relatively new addition to the tournament is the opportunity for A players to nominate a B player to play as their partner. It is requested that these new B players carry a handicap index of 10.0 or lower, while previous players and Preserve Golf Club members are exempted from this requirement but requested to carry a 15.2 index or less.

ENTRY FEE
The $850 entry fee for Peter Stocker (A) flight players includes one practice round (the day before the tournament begins) and three tournament rounds. (Carts and unlimited practice balls provided.) The Ruth Stocker Barry Flight entry fee is $2000, which helps the tournament to cover the cost of holding such a world-class event.

Contestants receive a Straight Down apparel gift certificate (van on site for apparel selection), plus daily breakfast and lunch. Players and their guest/spouse are invited to a Welcome Reception prior to the tournament as well as a Friday tournament dinner.
