The Tatum Trophy is a concurrent 2-man Better-Ball competition, modelled on the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am format. Each invited mid-amateur is paired with a low-handicap amateur partner, selected by the committee or at the player’s request.
Teams compete across all 54 holes simultaneously with the individual stroke play event.
Named for co-founder Sandy Tatum, the Tatum Trophy Best-Ball competition provides a unique opportunity to nurture enduring friendships while competing at the highest level.
The format mirrors the celebrated AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am — each mid-amateur paired with a low-handicap amateur in a simultaneous team event that adds a second dimension to every round of the Stocker Cup.
Partners are either selected by the tournament committee or invited at the mid-amateur player’s request, subject to committee approval. All partners must hold a current GHIN Handicap Index of less than 10.
